From the age of man and by the anger of the storm
Once more alone I roll like thunder through beginning of the dawn
The mist came swept barrels in the dark
and the lantern lit the ground
Empty shells on this open shoreline
Broken glass on a shifting tideline
Sleeping boats with ankers tethered
Four winds blew the song remembered
My mind is frozen and my feet won’t leave the ground
The burden’s light I rise from crying to stand up against the wall
The mist came swept barrels in the dark
and the lantern lit the ground
Empty shells on this open shoreline
Broken glass on a shifting tideline
Sleeping boats with ankers tethered
Fair winds blew the song remembered
